MP was born as an idea of the two partners, in life and business, Giorgio Moretti and Maria Pasini (from which MP orginates). After many years as owners of a painting company and later of a paint store, they start manufacturing water-based paints combinining experience, tradition and innovation.

A Family Tradition
Fabrizio and Onide Moretti become part of the family company and later on, their respective wifes, Gigliola and Roberta, join them too.

New Plant
The new plant of approximately 2500 sqm is built in the industrial area in Viserba, Rimini. From a small artisan business MP turns into a growth-oriented, well-established manufacturing company.

“ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN LANDSCAPE”
In cooperation with the Architect Marcello Franca, MP develops a study on the territory on the subject “Architecture and Urban Landscape” which leads to the publishing of the book "The Colours of Romagna".

In September MP celebrates its first 30 years of activity and inaugurates the new production plant.

MP achieves the EOTA certification (European Technical Approval) in compliance with ETAG 04 and the CE-marking for the components of the external wall insulation system OVERCOAT.

MP introduces the Health Paints, Purifica+ and Rigenera+, with tested effectiveness against Human Coronavirus NL63, which fight the proliferation of viruses and bacteria on surfaces, with air-purifying properties.
Colorificio MP is a Rimini-based company that has been operating in the paint and building renovation market since 1969, offering products
and services to professionals, retailers and operators in the “color sector”, in particular for construction, design and furniture.
